I can’t help bug feel like this article is homogenising a diversity of opinion within what appears to be the stable category of “Black". It isnt as stable as it seems. It may be semantically, but not metaphysically. Asuming that by virtue of a persons skin colour, that they immediately qualify for having had a particular experience in life seems problematic. If only for the reason that it looks like an empirical assertion that hasn’t yet been proven. Its funny how good intesions and sincerity can lead a person nearer to the problem they are striving to distance themselves from.
